September Student of the Month

Congratulations to Alexandra Michkov, Linfield’s September Student of the Month! Alexandra has been part of the Linfield community since 7th grade, and throughout her time on our campus, she has distinguished herself as an exceptional student and servant-hearted leader. Not only is she bright, hardworking, inquisitive, organized, and determined, she is someone who takes definitive action to make the world a better place.

An avid reader and gifted writer, Alexandra is known for thinking deeply and approaching challenging courses with excellence and integrity. Her passion for reading even led her to start Linfield’s Book and Story Club and serve as the project director for a Little Readers Book Drive. Under her leadership, Linfield students distributed nearly 180 books to kids at Vail Elementary School and went on a special reading visit! Alexandra also currently serves as president of the Science National Honor Society and vice president of Mu Alpha Theta.

But her commitment to service extends beyond Linfield. Alexandra has facilitated youth-led civic conversations as a Youth Fellow through Cortico in collaboration with the MIT Center for Constructive Communication and PBS Frontline, helped coordinate the distribution of meals through the Lunch at the Library program, and completed a recent research internship at Loma Linda University, where she presented a scientific poster at the 2026 LLU Health Disparities Symposium.

Alexandra’s accomplishments are many, but what truly sets her apart is her character. She serves with unfailing kindness and humility; she is gracious, loyal, and thoughtful, and in everything she does, her life shines with the love of Christ. She says, “What I love most about Linfield is the Christian love everyone has for each other.  This means no one is forgotten, and everyone is included, whether in chapel or the classroom.  As I look back on my time here, my memories will always include the kindness, joy, and patience I've experienced. God gave me the chance for this senior year, and I'm excited for everything in store for me!”

Alexandra is a blessing to Linfield, and we are so proud to celebrate her this month! She will also be honored by the Temecula Chamber of Commerce, city officials, and local sponsors at a special breakfast.
